IT MSP Sales Representative

Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced MSP Sales Professional with a strong track record of selling Managed Services, IT support agreements, cybersecurity services, and project-based IT solutions. The ideal candidate understands the MSP business model, excels at consultative selling, and can effectively communicate business value to C‑Suite and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a high‑quality sales pipeline of SMB and mid-market clients
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer business needs, pain points, and technology gaps
- Present and position the company’s managed IT, cloud, and cybersecurity offerings
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and statements of work for service engagements
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
- Collaborate with technical team to ensure accurate scoping and seamless handoff of new clients
- Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasting
- Build strong, long-term client relationships focused on strategic growth
Required Experience & Skills
- 5–10 years of direct sales experience within an MSP or IT services environment (mandatory)
- Proven success in selling Managed Services Agreements (MSAs), cybersecurity services, and IT projects
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (Microsoft 365, Azure), networking, and cybersecurity fundamentals
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to speak to both executive-level leaders and technical decision makers
- Self‑motivated with the ability to manage priorities and meet revenue goals
- Experience using CRM systems for pipeline management (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or Autotask)
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Familiarity with MSP pricing models and service stacks
- Existing book of business or industry network
- Experience with vCIO frameworks or technology roadmap planning
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or NIST (as applicable to your region)
