Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join our team in Eastern Canada. This role focuses on building and managing relationships with a diverse range of clients across education, government, enterprise, and other sectors. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, identifying opportunities, and positioning X10 as a trusted partner for technology solutions that solve real business challenges.
As a key member of our sales team, you will combine strategic thinking, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills to create long-term client partnerships. This role is ideal for someone passionate about technology, building meaningful client relationships, and advancing their career in a fast-growing, dynamic organization.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and expand a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors through proactive account management and strategic growth planning.
- Build and nurture senior-level relationships with decision-makers, key influencers, and stakeholders to drive long-term partnerships.
- Identify client challenges and align X10’s technology solutions to deliver measurable business outcomes and ROI.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation and pipeline development through contract negotiation and successful close.
- Partner with internal technical teams and vendor partners to architect, position, and present innovative, value-driven solutions.
- Represent X10 at industry events, conferences, and partner engagements to strengthen brand presence and generate new opportunities.
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining accurate CRM data to support forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive developments to provide strategic insight to clients.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of progressive sales experience in the IT industry, ideally within a manufacturer, VAR, or technology solutions provider.
- Demonstrated success in net new business development, including proactive prospecting, pipeline creation, and closing new logo accounts.
- Experience working across diverse client sectors, with the ability to identify and penetrate new market opportunities.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a high-performance, target-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT solutions, including networking, cybersecurity, cloud, and managed services.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Self-starter with strong initiative, accountability, and a results-oriented mindset, thriving in both independent and collaborative team environments.
- Highly developed consultative selling and relationship-building skills, with a focus on driving long-term client partnerships and expanding account value.
