About The Team You Are Joining
You will be joining the Information and Data Division, reporting to Head, Aviation Cyber Security, Policy & Compliance under the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), as part of small team of security professionals.
What Your Day Would Be Like
As a Senior Manager, Aviation Cybersecurity, you will support the Head of Aviation Cybersecurity in shaping industry policies, advocating for global standards, and fostering collaboration to enhance aviation cybersecurity resilience. You will contribute to the organization's engagement with regulatory authorities, industry groups, and international bodies while ensuring internal alignment with broader safety, security, and operational objectives.
Contribute and advocate to the formulation and implementation of aviation cybersecurity strategies, ensuring alignment with industry needs and regulatory expectations.
Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities (ICAO, EASA, FAA, etc.), industry partners, and aviation organizations to foster cybersecurity collaboration and advocacy.
Represent the organization in aviation cybersecurity working groups, task forces, and advisory bodies, contributing to the development of international standards and best practices.
Provide expert guidance on aligning aviation cybersecurity provisions and best practices with evolving regulatory landscapes.
Act as a trusted advisor to internal senior management on external cybersecurity regulatory developments and their potential impact on the airlines.
Support the organization’s presence at international conferences, summits, and industry panels on aviation cybersecurity.
Promote cybersecurity awareness across the industry by supporting the development of training programs, workshops, webinars and guidance material for aviation industry.
Contribute to the publication of white papers, industry position papers, and reports to advance thought leadership in aviation cybersecurity.
Engage with cybersecurity organizations, academic and research institutions to support innovation in aviation cybersecurity practices, tools, and methodologies.
We would love to hear from you if
A university degree in Aviation, Cybersecurity, Law, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience with international exposure, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity, aviation, or a related field.
Strong understanding of aviation cybersecurity, regulatory and policy frameworks, and airline or aviation operational environments.
Familiarity with aviation regulatory bodies (ICAO, EASA, FAA, etc.), industrial standards (IOSA, EUROCAE, ARINC, etc.), cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.), and risk management methodologies.
Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
Travel Required: 5%
