Job Description:
As a Junior Risk Analyst focusing on IT systems monitoring, you will assist in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks to our IT infrastructure. You will help ensure the health and security of our systems by reviewing performance data, system alerts, and identifying areas of improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor IT systems for performance issues, security threats, and operational risks.
- Review system logs and alerts to identify potential risks or vulnerabilities.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures to protect IT systems.
- Support the IT team in responding to incidents or system failures.
- Document risk findings and actions taken to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with senior risk analysts to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
Requirements:
- 0-1 year of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field (internships or coursework may count).
- Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, and security.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of risk management and IT security.
Preferred Skills (but not required):
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix).
- Basic knowledge of risk management frameworks and cybersecurity principles.
- Experience with operating systems (Linux, Windows).
