Job overview:

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Drive cybersecurity business development and sales initiatives in the Montreal market
- Expand and manage a network of freelancers and strategic partners to enhance service delivery capabilities
- Lead and oversee cybersecurity projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction
- Provide expert consultancy services to industrial customers, offering tailored cybersecurity solutions and strategies
- Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments for industrial clients to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
- Maintain regular communication and reporting with CertX headquarters, ensuring alignment with company-wide objectives and standards
- Spearhead the development and growth of the internal cybersecurity team in Montreal, including recruitment, training, and team management
Educational / Professional Experience:
- Advanced degree (M.Sc, PhD or equivalent) in a related field (Cyber security, IT, Computer science…) with confirmed competencies
- Min. 5 years’ experience working on industrial projects
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following industries: Critical infrastructure, Medtech, Automotive, other relevant industrial sectors
- Professional certification in cybersecurity or industrial security from a recognized institute or extensive, verifiable work experience leading security projects in industrial environments
- Proven track record of applying cybersecurity principles to complex industrial systems and processes
Key Competencies:
- Demonstrate ability to translate complex normative requirements into practical, comprehensive frameworks tailored for diverse industrial clients (e.g., product manufacturers, system integrators, system operators)
- Possess in-depth knowledge and proficiency in applying industrial cybersecurity reference documents and standards, including but not limited to: NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NIST-CSF),NIST Special Publication 800-82 , ISA/IEC 62443, CEN/TS 50701 or equivalent
- Show ability to creating, developing, and maintaining strong customer relationships across various industrial sectors
- Exhibit a highly dynamic and self-motivated personality, capable of working independently and taking initiative
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the cybersecurity practice
- Possess excellent communication skills in English (C2 or equivalent), proficiency in French is considered as an asset
