The Channel Sales Account Manager (U.S. & Canada) supports partners in selling IT cybersecurity Services and solutions to their end customers. They help assess partner and customer needs, provide demo presentations, qualify prospects, close sales, and place orders.
Essential Responsibilities
· Takes ownership and manages sales cycle, identifying prospects and closing new business with the primary goal of driving revenue and increasing market share
· Builds relationships with partner sales teams to strategize new sales opportunities
· Build out a channel ecosystem for startups
· Provide partner training to all partners
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
Bilingual (French/English) * not required
Minimum of 5 years channel experience
Thrives in an energetic, competitive atmosphere
A team player that is accountable for results
Ability to consistently achieve revenue targets on a quarterly basis
Experience handling cold calling to help close business
Ability to acquire and/or demonstrate a solid understanding of business technology products and services for categories such as Productivity, Data Compliance, Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity
