Position Overview:
We are looking to bring onboard a new Cybersecurity Analyst to help manager all cybersecurity alerts that are generated by controls deployed across public cloud, networks, servers, workstations, and SaaS applications. In this role, you will work closely with different functional teams across Technology including Support, Governance, and IT Infrastructure to investigate any issues that arise and operates continuously.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor, identify, investigate, report, and mitigate cyber security threats and risks
- Review vulnerability scans and collaborate with other IT operational teams to resolve
- Assist in creating, reviewing, and maintaining security-related documents such as policies, procedures, device configuration baselines and response playbooks
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes and the development of new attacks/threat vectors
- Contribute to building a cyber aware culture via the development and delivery of end-user training
- Assist with conducting various information security and compliance assessments
- Recommend additional security solutions, controls, or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security
- Participate in the deployment and integration of all new security solutions
Let's Talk About You:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or other IT-related field of study
- Industry certification such as SSCP, GSEC and CySA+, Blue Team Level 1 or ISACA CSX required
- 2-3 years of experience working in a Cyber Security-related role
- Experience working with and monitoring Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Single Sign On (SSO), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
- Experience with managing security vendors and appliances
- Working technical knowledge of system vulnerability scanning and remediation
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and other network protocols
- Technical knowledge of networking (Firewalls, Routing, Switching, Wireless)
- Significant knowledge of; Microsoft products and platforms including Active Directory, Azure and Office365. Windows Server and VMware
