Job Title: Information Security Analyst
Contract Duration: 10 Months
Pay range C$68 - 82/hr
Work Type: Hybrid, 2 days a week in office, potential to increase office presence in 2025

Job Description:Join Our Team and Protect Our Digital FutureAs an Information Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's sensitive information. You will leverage your technical expertise to detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:

Threat Detection: Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats.
Incident Response: Investigate security incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
Security Analysis: Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans.
Data Analysis: Use data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in security data.
Security Solutions: Implement and maintain security solutions, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools.

Required Skills and Experience:

Strong understanding of information security principles and practices
Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools, such as Splunk and Sentinel
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL)
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)
Experience with cloud security and cloud-based SIEM solutions
Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence
