Summary:
CYGNVS is seeking an Account Executive to hunt for new logos in the enterprise business segment. In this role, you’ll be managing the full sales cycle from beginning to end with the goal of acquiring new accounts to meet your sales quota. We are looking for passion in the cybersecurity space, strong sales acumen, and a tenacious attitude. This role is remote.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Run a full sales process from prospecting to close.
- Forecast and report updates to VP of Sales.
- Track and record metrics throughout sales process in HubSpot CRM.
- Meet and exceed sales quota.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Collaborate with our Incident Response Architects, Customer Solutions Managers, Channel Account Managers, and VP of Sales to close business.
- Partner with our channel partners to drive net-new business.
- Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
- May require modified work hours to accommodate accounts in other time zones, and minimal, but occasional travel for accounts that require a higher touch to achieve closure.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+years selling into greenfield accounts particularly in Tech, SaaS, or Security.
- Proven track record or exceeding sales quota
- Passion and ability to learn a new sales methodology and running opportunities from discovery to close.
- Proven experience setting appointments and speaking to C-level Executives to technical teams such as CISOs, Incident Risk Manager, security/SOC teams.
- Track record of exceeding expectations and goals.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn new business and technical concepts.
- Competitive attitude with positive sportsmanship to be able to collaborate with peers.
- Strong presentation skills, both in-person and virtually.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required unless 10+ years of directly similar experience.
- Directly sold cybersecurity, tech, or SaaS products at least 5 years.
