NeuPath is a vertically integrated health care provider utilizing research, data- driven insights, technology, and interdisciplinary care to help restore function for patients impacted by chronic pain, spinal injuries, sports-related injuries, and concussions. NeuPath owns and operates twelve clinics in Ontario and Alberta and has a minority interest in two physiotherapy clinics in Alberta. Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Network Engineer to execute the development and implementation of our network and IT infrastructure as we transition from an on-prem to a cloud network infrastructure. You will be working closely with the VP of IT to ensure
IT strategy is aligned with corporate objectives. This role involves hands-on responsibilities including travel to NeuPath clinics to set up computers, technology, networking equipment, providing 2nd/3rd level helpdesk support and ensuring continuous improvement towards the modernization of technologies used in the business.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Office 365, Azure, and cloud migration, along with familiarity with popular cloud-based technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Implementation: Design, implement, and manage network architectures that support the company's growth and transition from an on-prem to a cloud-based infrastructure.
- On-Site Setup & Support: Travel to clinic locations to set up IT equipment, including computers, networking systems, printers, and provide hands-on support and troubleshooting.
- Helpdesk Management: Provide level-2 and level-3 support for IT issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical problems in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date documentation of network designs, configurations, processes, and support procedures.
- Customer Centric Service Approach to IT: Be accountable to physicians and staff by delivering exceptional IT support services with a positive, customer-focused attitude that meets their expectations.
- Cloud Architecture: Manage and modernize the Office 365 and Azure environments, including integration, security, and adoption of new features and functionality
- Network Migration: Provide guidance and execute on network and user migrations such as G Suite to Office 365 and on-premises solutions to cloud-based environments.
- IT Security: Implement and monitor network security measures, including identity and access management, data protection, and threat response.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless IT support for clinic operations and new technology initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to optimize network performance and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Proficiency (required)
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 and Azure functionality such as Azure VM’s, Intune, AutoPilot, SSO, SharePoint, Teams, Conditional Access Policies, Defender/Sentinel, Powershell Scripting
- Experience in VOIP technologies and migration from on-prem PBX to cloud
- Expertise in network architecture, including LAN/WAN, VPN (IPsec/OpenVPN/WireGuard), firewalls, and cloud networking.
- Experience in cloud technology deployments, migrations, and integrations.
- Cloud Migration Experience: Proven track record in successful migration projects, such as transitioning from G Suite to Office 365 and moving on-premise Active Directory to cloud environments.
- Experience in supporting a Microsoft based corporate infrastructure
- Rack Management, Server Rack Installation, Cable Management
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot network issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Mobility: Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to clinic sites as required.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of professional experience in network engineering or architecture, preferably in a healthcare, clinical, or multi-site environment.

- Microsoft Certifications (Preferred):
- Azure (and/or Microsoft 365 equivalent) Solutions Architect Expert
- Azure (and/or Microsoft 365 equivalent) Security Engineer Associate
- Azure (and/or Microsoft 365 equivalent) Network Engineer Associate
- Azure (and/or Microsoft 365 equivalent) Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Experience with cybersecurity measures, threat analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Knowledge of industry standards for network security and data protection best practices.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, enabling them to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
