What You'll Do:
- Design Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, available, and resilient solutions that secure both digital front- and back-end systems, aligned with our enterprise architecture and security strategies.
- Champion Security Domains: Produce and update architectural assets across cybersecurity domains, from CIAM and SIEM to cloud security, data protection, and threat management.
- Advise as an Expert: Bring your in-depth expertise to security reviews and act as a trusted advisor on cloud technologies, containerization, virtualization, and the n-tier application stack.
- Drive Cloud Strategy: Apply your knowledge of public (AWS, Azure) and private cloud solutions to enhance our cloud security posture and network architecture.
- Innovate Roadmaps: Shape technology and infrastructure roadmaps that propel us towards our future-ready objectives.
- Collaborate and Influence: Lead from within by guiding tech teams, coordinating with Solution, Infrastructure, and Data architects, and advising on tech direction to influence our strategic goals.
- Engage Stakeholders: Use your strong communication and negotiation skills to ensure proposed solutions align with senior leadership's vision and meet business and project needs.
- Shape Vendor Relationships: Work closely with vendors, evaluating solutions, and aligning their offerings with our security objectives.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 10+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, especially within large, complex ecosystems and multi-platform environments.
- Strategic Acumen: Proven track record in building a cybersecurity technology direction that balances strategic foresight with actionable, tactical activities.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of network, storage, app development, OS, CIAM, PAM, SSO, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks like NIST CSF, PCI DSS, and OWASP.
- Banking Insight: Background in financial services cybersecurity, with familiarity in enterprise and solution architecture.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Certifications: CISSP and one cloud security certification (CCSP, AWS SS, or Az-500) required.
