Job Description:
Plutosec is seeking a skilled and experienced Penetration Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to improve the security posture of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform penetration testing on web applications, networks, APIs, and cloud environments.
- Identify, exploit, and document security vulnerabilities in client systems.
- Conduct security assessments using industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, and Nmap.
- Develop detailed security reports and provide mitigation strategies to clients.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to remediate identified risks.
- Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and penetration testing techniques.
- Assist in red teaming and adversary simulation exercises.
- Conduct social engineering assessments, including phishing and physical security testing.
- Ensure compliance with security standards such as OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of network security, web security, and ethical hacking techniques.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
