We are seeking a senior level Software Developer – Healthcare Solutions with 5+ years of experience to create innovative tools that enable better patient outcomes and pharmacy efficiency. If you're creative, design-focused, and ready to make an impact, this is the opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions using Angular, TypeScript and Google Cloud services (including Firebase).
- Build AI and BI-powered platforms to analyze and predict patient needs, enabling smarter care delivery.
- Redesign pharmacy workflows to minimize administrative tasks and enhance efficiency.
- Create scalable systems optimized for multiple delivery platforms (mobile, desktop, etc.).
- Work with HL7 FHIR standards and prioritize healthcare cybersecurity best practices.
- Design and implement robust APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) and integrate with external systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand pharmacy and healthcare software needs.
- Leverage MySQL and NoSQL databases and ensure adherence to strong OOP design principles.
- Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure high-quality application performance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends through self-directed learning.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development experience in building scalable healthcare solutions.
- Expertise in Angular, TypeScript, and Google Cloud services is required and Python would be considered an asset.
- Strong background in AI, BI and data analytics for predictive healthcare solutions.
- Healthcare domain knowledge, including experience with HL7 FHIR standards and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in MySQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong UI/UX skills with a creative, design-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with pharmacy and healthcare systems (e.g., EMR, pharmacy management software).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while delivering exceptional results.
- Familiarity with developing or interfacing with pharmacy management systems (Kroll, UBIK, PharmaClik Rx, Healthwatch) or other EMR/healthcare systems would be considered an assist.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – French would be a strong asset.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to develop full-stack web applications.
