The candidate should have a solid technical background in areas such as network security, encryption, access control, and threat detection. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and industry standards is essential. Experience with designing and implementing security controls for cloud environments and enterprise applications is highly desirable. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, including IT teams, executives, and clients. A proactive approach to identifying security risks and developing proactive measures to address them is crucial. The candidate should stay current on emerging cyber threats and technologies to continually improve cybersecurity postures. Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA, are preferred. A proven track record of successful cybersecurity solution design and implementation is advantageous.
