Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven Senior Sales Executive with a strong background in IT sales. This individual
will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving
revenue growth by selling Managed Services (MSP), Microsoft Azure, Office 365, Fortinet, Dell, and other
technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT sales, particularly in selling
solutions to business clients.
This role is hybrid, requiring the individual to work in our Toronto office at least twice per week while engaging
with clients both remotely and in-person as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate leads, conversations, meetings, sales, and overall company growth.
• Play a pivotal role in timely, effective and thorough delivery of presales, sales and marketing
information; develop comprehensive proposals to be shared with clients as well as other staff
members
• Prospect through cold calls, emails, calendar invites, social media, LinkedIn, etc.
• “Get the sale” using various sales methods (presentations, cold calling, technical assistance, sales
team leverage, quotes).
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and close new business opportunities.
• Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, conducting regular touch calls to ensure
smooth account management and project progression.
• Identify client needs and present tailored IT solutions, including MSP services, Azure, Office 365,
cybersecurity solutions (Fortinet), and hardware (Dell).
• Collaborate with technical teams to develop proposals and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Forecast monthly activities, calls, meetings, opportunities, and sales.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to better serve clients and provide
consultative sales expertise.
• Conduct high-level conversations with IT leaders and Executives.
• Evaluate client needs accurately and build productive long-lasting relationships.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline management using CRM
tools.
• Opportunity to contribute leads and ideas to marketing and events.
• Actively build product knowledge to ensure confidence in all IT solutions.
• Procure hardware and software solutions tailer to their needs
• Work with vendors to make sure the company is compliant and staying within partner requirements
for each vendor
• Coordinate shipping and receiving hardware shipments as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of IT sales experience, with a strong focus on selling Managed Services, Cloud
Solutions, and Security Solutions.
• Understanding & curiosity with Cloud solutions.
• Managed Services experience.
• Basic knowledge of Servers, Storage, Workstations & Networking.
• Understanding projects & project management.
• Self-motivated and can work independently.
• Proven experience working with MSP models, Azure, Office 365, Fortinet, Dell, and other IT
technologies.
• Strong knowledge of technology needs across various industries and the ability to tailor solutions
accordingly.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• An ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously while ensuring high client
satisfaction.
• New business development experience.
• Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management.
• Computer use competency (strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills).
• Salesforce experience.
• Familiarity with CRM software for sales tracking and pipeline management.
