The pay range for this role is CAD $130,000 - CAD $150,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay. Job Description:
As an Enterprise Architect (Telecom), you will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive strategy that aligns with our business goals and supports our growth plans. You will be instrumental in identifying and pitching solutions for solving Telco clients’ problems. You will supervise technical aspects of the Regional Delivery Team, accelerate digital innovation within the organization and lead our technical talent to ensure that products and services are developed efficiently. You will work closely with the Sales team on proposals, pitches, POV sharing and engage with the executive/senior leadership level right up to C-level
Role Objectives:
- Identifying and evaluating the latest technologies, assessing their potential for strategic advantage and business impact in context of Telco organizations.
- Collaborating with executive leadership (CXO’s), business units, and stakeholders to understand their technology needs and drive technology-enabled business initiatives.
- Providing strong leadership and guidance to the technology teams, Enterprise architects and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Accelerating innovation initiatives to enhance our products, services and processes for optimum efficiency.
- Managing relationships with technology vendors and partners, evaluating and selecting the most suitable solutions and services.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of scalable and secure technology systems, software solutions and infrastructure.
Routine tasks:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy (mix of domain and technology) tailored to the company's business objectives, scalability and operational efficiency.
- Create and manage the technology budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee the design and implementation of robust and scalable enterprise architectures, ensuring alignment with business requirements, security standards and industry’s best practices.
- Establish and maintain efficient and reliable technology operations, including systems infrastructure, network, data management and security protocols for high performance, uptime and data integrity.
- Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, ensuring data privacy and security regulations compliance.
- Stay aware of the latest tech advancements to provide strategic insights and recommendations for maintaining our technological edge.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar senior technology leadership role delivering into Telco organizations (as client).
- Demonstrated success in managing IT infrastructure, IT budgets, software development and systems architecture.
- Adept at understanding challenges / opportunities for Telco clients to Simplify, Modernize and Monetize.
- Deep understanding of Telecom domain, technology trends, best practices.
- Extensive knowledge of software development methodologies, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience driving digital transformation initiatives, leveraging cloud technologies, and implementing data-driven decision-making.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate business objectives into effective technology strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing technology teams.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale technology projects, delivering results on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights for informed decision-making.
- Telco stack transformation experience.
- Experience and extensive knowledge with Cloud Platforms, Cloud Services and cloud Architecture.
- Experience with SaaS platforms and well versed with cloud transformation.
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, TMForum Certification.
Good to have:
- A master’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as MBA, cloud certifications,
- Ability to think tactically and translate business objectives into technology initiatives.
- Proficient in risk mitigation and data security of digital assets.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to the Indian market.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies for software development/delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- Proven ability to navigate complex technology landscapes and align technology initiatives with business objectives.
