Job Title: Consultant OT Cybersecurity Specialist
Duration: Full – Time
Location: Mississauga/Sudbury ON
The client is seeking an OT Cybersecurity Specialist. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture Definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- The candidate must be located within commuting distance of Sudbury, Ontario, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Industrial Automation & Control System and OT Cybersecurity.
- In-depth knowledge of Industrial control system (ICS) and OT Environment.
- Knowledge in control network design, infrastructure and network protocols used in OT environments (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, OPC UA)
- Hands-on experience in integrating various OT systems with IT/Enterprise systems and various devices.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices and technologies in OT.
- Experience in implementing security measures in the OT environment using NIST framework and IEC62443 standards
- Experience with network security tools, vulnerability monitoring tools, IDS/IPS and SIEM solutions.
- Hands-on working experience in OT security solutions and tools by Nozomi/Claroty/Dragos/Tenable/SCADAfence etc
- Experience in performing OT security maturity assessment using NIST framework and IEC62443 standard.
- Experience in configuring, implementation and testing of active directory, firewall rules, patch management, access control, security policy and procedures.
- Experience in developing and implementing OT disaster recovery plan, backup technologies, testing failover mechanisms for OT systems.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and techniques.
- Experience in Control System Design & Engineering, Industrial Interface and Communication Protocols, Configuration and Testing, Commissioning of OT systems and applications.
- Working experience in PLC/DCS Configuration, Programming (ABB, Siemens, Rockwell, GE, Schneider, AVEVA, Foxboro and Emerson, etc) and Supervisory/SCADA Systems (iFix, Wincc, FacktoryTalk, System Plattaform, 800xA, Delta V, etc).
- Experience in conducting FAT/SAT and in performing functional, interface, network, security and application test.
- Good understanding of IOT Devices, field level sensors, actuators, transducers, transmitters etc.
- Ability to work in a team in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
- Travel (20%) to client site location to perform assessment, installation, configuration, testing and other commissioning activities.
- Excellent communication and interfacing skills with clients, system suppliers/vendors
- Strong documentation and document management skills.
