Summary:
The Cybersecurity Program Manager will lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of SkillHat’s cybersecurity training programs. This role is pivotal in ensuring that students and alumni achieve career success in cybersecurity, while positioning SkillHat as an industry leader in cutting-edge cybersecurity education.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development and Research
- Conduct primary and secondary research, including interviews, focus groups, and job market analyses, to identify industry trends and skill gaps.
- Align curriculum with recognized standards and certifications, such as CompTIA Security+ and CISSP.
- Differentiate SkillHat’s programs by analysing competitors and developing unique value propositions.
- Program Strategy and Direction
- Establish and execute employer partnership strategies for internships, mentorships, and job placements.
- Explore innovative revenue models, such as subscription-based access to advanced resources.
- Strategically align the program with student career goals and market demands.
- Program Development and Delivery
- Collaborate with content teams to create hands-on, industry-relevant courses, integrating labs, simulations, and real-world projects.
- Recruit and onboard instructors with practical cybersecurity expertise.
- Marketing and Sales Support
- Collaborate with marketing to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns to drive student enrolment.
- Use feedback from go-to-market strategies to optimize program offerings.
- Financial Management
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure cost-efficient program delivery.
- Drive revenue growth by meeting enrolment and program performance targets.
- Student Success and Program Optimization
- Ensure students build professional portfolios and earn relevant certifications.
- Monitor job placement rates and aim for a minimum of 95% placement within six months post-completion.
- Conduct surveys and reviews to refine curriculum and delivery methods regularly.
- Track alumni career progression and satisfaction metrics.
Requirements

- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, certifications, and industry frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).

Education/Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, cybersecurity, or related roles.
- Familiarity with industry certifications such as CISSP and CompTIA Security+.
- Proven track record of designing and delivering high-quality educational or training programs.
- Experience in managing budgets and achieving financial performance targets.
