Role Overview:
As a Cybersecurity Specialist - Onboarding, you will play a key role in deploying and configuring SIEM platforms to provide clients with real-time visibility into security events and incidents. You will tailor SIEM solutions to meet customer-specific security and compliance requirements, ensuring optimized performance, scalability, and integration with other security tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation:
- Understand and tailor SIEM solutions to the organization's specific security and compliance needs.
- Design architecture and components of the SIEM system based on organizational requirements.
- Deploy and configure SIEM platforms, integrating with various data sources (e.g., firewalls, IDS, antivirus).
- Optimization and Maintenance:
- Optimize the SIEM system for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Set up robust log collection, storage, and retention mechanisms.
- Integrate SIEM with other tools, including threat intelligence platforms, incident response systems, and vulnerability scanners.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about the latest threat landscape and SIEM technologies, recommending enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain corporate information security objectives throughout projects and service requests.
- Support adherence to managed service levels and escalate complex issues as required.
- Operational Support:
- Participate in annual IT Security Risk Assessments and other operational processes as needed.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Experience:
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, including deployment and optimization.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in integrating and managing security tools.
