Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Junior Penetration Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in penetration testing and be proficient in assessing both IT systems and IoT devices. This role involves regular travel across North America to meet client needs and occasional participation in red teaming exercises.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct Penetration Tests: Perform security assessments on networks, applications, and IoT devices to identify vulnerabilities.
- Red Teaming Exercises: Participate in simulated attacks to test organizational defenses and response strategies.
- Vulnerability Analysis: Analyze findings to determine the severity and potential impact of discovered vulnerabilities.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed technical reports and executive summaries outlining methodologies, findings, and remediation recommendations.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide expert guidance.
- Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, tools, and best practices.
- Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to legal, ethical, and company standards during all testing activities.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Experience: 2-3 years of professional experience in penetration testing.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with penetration testing tools (e.g., Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark).
- Experience with IoT security assessments.
- Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and database systems.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
