Overview: Our client is seeking a Territory Account Manager to drive sales growth within the cybersecurity sector. This role will focus on advancing cybersecurity and DNS infrastructure in Canada through cutting-edge solutions designed to protect users online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential prospects through market research and analysis.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Conduct regular meetings and business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Qualify leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure a consistent flow of opportunities.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the client’s cybersecurity SaaS products and services, effectively communicating their value propositions to prospects.
- Collaborate with internal teams—such as marketing, product management, and customer success—to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Provide actionable feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions and market insights.
- Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline status, forecast accuracy, and closed deals.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SaaS sales, specifically within the cybersecurity domain.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales territory and develop strategic sales plans, including accurate business forecasting.
- Strong business acumen, tenacity, and excellent communication skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of the SaaS business model and the cybersecurity technology landscape.
- Proficiency in CRM software, such as Salesforce.
*This role will be hybrid, with 7-8 days in office per month.
