Position Overview
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Director to lead and drive sales initiatives for our cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, preferably within the tech or cybersecurity sector, and will be responsible for expanding market share and driving revenue growth. As a key player in the sales leadership team, you will focus on strategic business development and ensure that your region meets and exceeds its sales targets. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
- Identify, research, and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking, and inbound marketing efforts.
- Leverage your knowledge of the cybersecurity industry to build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients to generate new opportunities.
Sales Process & Closing:
- Conduct discovery calls and meetings to understand client needs and present tailored cybersecurity solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, driving revenue growth through proactive outreach, presentations, and solution-based selling.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing, ensuring client satisfaction and successful implementation of solutions.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to educate clients on cybersecurity risks and position our solutions as critical to their success.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) by closing new business deals.
Account Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor for their cybersecurity needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams (technical, marketing, and customer success) to ensure smooth handover and delivery of services.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with SecureOps services and identifying opportunities for account growth.
- We understand our client's business objectives and challenges and leverage SecureOps’ cybersecurity services to provide tailored solutions that deliver value and mitigate risks.
- Work closely with SecureOps’ technical experts to ensure the seamless delivery of services and the successful implementation of cybersecurity strategies for our clients.
Market & Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cybersecurity and related technologies to effectively communicate our value proposition.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of the company’s products and services to confidently engage with prospects and clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales with a focus on lead generation and closing.
- Experience in the cybersecurity industry or a strong ability to quickly learn the industry’s landscape, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle a high volume of outbound sales activities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales quotas and close high-value deals.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. • Proficient in CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Familiarity with common cybersecurity threats, solutions, and regulations.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires regular travel 30% of the time within Canada or internationally, depending on client needs.
