ALCiT is a Canadian Managed IT Services provider with a strong focus on Cybersecurity and Compliance. We help businesses defend against modern threats and meet their compliance obligations through managed detection and response (MDR), vulnerability management, and security and compliance enablement. As we grow, we’re investing in our sales team and we’re looking for a driven hunter to help us win new clients.
About the Role
This is a true hunting role. You’ll own the full sales cycle: sourcing your own leads through cold calling and research, qualifying opportunities, running discovery, and closing new business. You won’t be handed a book of accounts; you’ll build your own pipeline and take each deal from first conversation to signed contract.

What You’ll Do
- Source and build your own pipeline through cold calling, email, social outreach, and independent research
- Identify and qualify net-new opportunities within our target markets
- Own the full sales cycle end to end — prospecting, discovery, qualification, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Run discovery conversations to uncover prospects’ security, compliance, and risk needs
- Position ALCiT’s managed services with cybersecurity and compliance services against each prospect’s current state and risk exposure
- Partner with our technical and delivery teams on scoping and assessments as deals progress
- Build tailored proposals and pricing, and negotiate to close
- Keep your pipeline, activity, and forecasts accurate and up to date in the CRM
- Meet or exceed your quota and activity targets
What You Bring
- 4–8 years of B2B outbound or new-business sales experience, with a track record of self-sourced pipeline and closing
- Demonstrated success cold calling and prospecting into new accounts while carrying a quota
- Experience selling technology, managed services, or cybersecurity services (strongly preferred)
- A hunter mindset: high drive, resilience, and comfort handling rejection
- Strong prospecting and research skills to find and reach decision-makers on your own
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- A consultative approach that connects technical solutions to business outcomes
- Strong organization, time management, and pipeline discipline
- Proficiency with CRM and standard sales prospecting tools
- Fluency in English is required
- Fluency in French is a strong asset
- A diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field — or equivalent experience
Compensation
We’ve built a plan that rewards hunters who close quality, long-term business:
- Base salary: $112,000
- On-target earnings (OTE): $160,000 (70/30 base-to-variable split)
- Commission is tied to the recurring revenue you bring in, with performance accelerators that reward strong closers
- Uncapped earning potential — top performers earn well above OTE
