I am excited to share that my lab, the Hardware Accelerated Design and Integration Laboratory (HADILAB) in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at McMaster University, has two Postdoctoral Researcher positions available.
These positions are funded through the New Frontiers in Research Fund - Exploration (NFRF-E) and focus on custom and reconfigurable computing for AI-driven hardware-accelerated molecular dynamics simulation and neurotechnology.
Successful candidates will contribute to the development of FPGA-based end-to-end hardware-accelerated molecular dynamics simulation pipelines, with impactful applications in drug discovery and delivery.
We are looking for candidates with backgrounds in:
🔹Computer Engineering
🔹Electrical Engineering
🔹Computer Science
🔹Related disciplines
Expertise in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
🔹 Computer Architecture
🔹 Digital Hardware Design
🔹 Reconfigurable Computing (FPGA)
🔹 Machine Learning / AI Hardware
🔹 Biochemistry
🔹 Brain-computer interfaces
🔹 Related research areas
