Working with one of our top financial clients, this role calls for a Program Manager - Cyber Third Party Risk/Data Strategy. This position involves leading the development and execution of comprehensive data strategies within cybersecurity frameworks, managing multiple projects that focus on data consolidation, analytics, and security within complex environments. The successful candidate will play a critical role in transforming data management and enablement processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and deliver a comprehensive data strategy for Cyber Third Party Risk, including detailed project plans, roadmaps, and recommendations.
- Lead hands-on activities to draft and implement data strategy and enablement initiatives.
- Coordinate project activities across diverse teams and stakeholders, providing status updates and tailored presentations for technical and business audiences.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and enterprise data teams to assess analytics needs and functional requirements.
- Conduct interviews and workshops to capture business and technical needs, documenting requirements and future state processes.
- Engage with department leaders to solicit cooperation, resolve issues, and align project goals.
- Develop an operating model and participate in staffing decisions for data-related initiatives.
- Evaluate technology proposals from vendors, ensuring projects align with strategic goals and feasibility.
Desired Skill-Set
- 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager.
- Proven expertise in data strategy development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Technical proficiency in Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Azure, Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft Sentinel Data Lake, security graph theory, and related technologies.
- Experience designing and managing data strategy programs and projects.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance, architecture, and enablement tools.
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable plans and documentation.
- Familiarity with production processes, quality control, and cost management related to data initiatives.
- Change management skills to lead program transitions and foster sustainable adoption.
- Strategic planning, resource allocation, and management principles.
Nice to Have
- Advanced certifications in program/project management, data management, or cyber security.
- Experience with large-scale data consolidation and analytics projects within financial services or cybersecurity sectors.
- Familiarity with banking operations.
