Raise is currently hiring a IT Cyber Security Consultant on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
The IT Cyber Security Consultant in this role will report to the Cybersecurity Governance and Performance Lead, the and will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and reporting key cybersecurity performance indicators to support governance, compliance, and risk management objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and maintain cybersecurity KPIs, KRIs, and associated tools and templates.

Collect and validate data from multiple sources; prepare regular and ad-hoc cybersecurity performance reports.

Analyze data and trends, presenting insights in clear, concise formats for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Monitor, track, and report on policy compliance, exceptions, issues, and remediation actions.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to metrics and reporting processes.

Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure timely readiness and accuracy of metrics information.

Support cybersecurity programs and initiatives as required by our business group and department.
Qualifications
-
2–4 years of experience in cybersecurity with responsibilities covering metrics, reporting, and/or governance.

Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and risk management principles.

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, and Tableau).

Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into actionable business insights.

Education and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.
- Cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISA or similar is considered an asset.
Additional Information

Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.

Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network
