Job Description:
Plutosec is seeking an experienced and strategic Cyber Security Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on security strategies, risk assessments, and compliance requirements while working closely with clients to enhance their overall cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate clients’ cybersecurity risks, policies, and controls.
- Develop and implement security strategies, frameworks, and risk management plans.
- Provide consulting services on compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
- Advise on security architecture, incident response, and disaster recovery planning.
- Assist clients in identifying and mitigating cybersecurity threats.
- Develop security awareness programs and training materials for organizations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement security best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
- Prepare detailed security reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in cybersecurity consulting, risk management, and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, best practices, and industry regulations.
- Hands-on experience with security assessment tools (Nessus, Burp Suite, SIEM, etc.).
- Expertise in network security, cloud security, and secure software development.
- Ability to develop security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and advisory skills.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and client interaction skills.
