The Glencore Group IT department is looking for an OT Cybersecurity Analyst to join our global team in Toronto, Canada. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's digital assets and ensuring their availability, integrity and confidentiality. This role will involve monitoring security systems, analyzing potential threats, implementing security measures to safeguard our operational technology (OT) environments, and assist industrial engineers in the adoption of our cybersecurity standard and framework.
The main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with site OT and IT teams to implement security controls and best practices across the organization.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with company and industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and provide training and awareness programs to staff on cybersecurity best practices and incident response.
- Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events from various security tools and systems.
- Assist in the response to security incidents and breaches, conducting thorough investigations and implementing remediation strategies.
The ideal candidate has:
- A degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 5 years of working experience, whereof 3 years working in an industrial environment, preferably in a cybersecurity, information security or IT management role.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST, IEC62443, ISO 27001).
- Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, network monitoring and analysis solutions, AV/EDR systems and SIEMs.
- Familiarity with ICS and SCADA systems and operational technology security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
