Job Summary
As a Spare Part Sales Engineer Support, your responsibility is to provide administrative and technical support to the Spare Part Sales Manager, ensuring efficient sales operations, and assisting in achieving revenue targets.
Job Duties
- Processing, record keeping, response to customer inquiries
- Following up on inquiries from customers regarding the status of their orders
- Keep a detailed record of all orders and delivery dates
- Following up with purchasing and manufacturing on late orders
- Manage and follow spare parts processes
- Printing off the required drawings for quoting
- Preparing the folders for spare part orders
- Following up with engineering if there are questions when preparing a quote
- Photocopying manuals when one is sold to a customer
- Preparing quotes and entering orders in AX for spare parts
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required
Job Requirements (Education, Knowledge & Skill)
- Experience working within an ERP system
- Able to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings is a plus
- Experience working in a technical environment is a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machinery and assembly is a plus
- Able to accurately enter data with attention to detail
- Good written, oral, and listening skills to convey and receive technical information
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Flexible with changing priorities and multi-tasking as needed
- Work effectively within a cross-functional team environment
- Effectively meet deadlines
