Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8 hour shift and on-call rotation.
What You Will Do
The Cyber Security Analyst 3 (CSA3) is a security specialist who leads the efforts of the 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT), providing technical guidance, escalation, and incident response coordination to TOH and its partners.
The CSA3 designs and implements security infrastructure and controls to secure and support the business requirements ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the organization.
The CSA3 designs and implements advanced cyber security monitoring, detection and automation workflows using Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
The CSA3 will use advanced tools and intelligence information to identify, prioritize, and provide remediation guidance to technical and non-technical stake holders concerning critical vulnerabilities related to TOH and its partners. Will also maintain a risk register to track these vulnerabilities and their associated risks.
The CSA3 will create technical documentation to support security procedures, applications, projects as well as create and update GRC policy documents.
What You Will Bring
- University degree and/or college plus equivalent experience in a relevant discipline;
- Holder of Security Certifications (eg: Security+, CYSA+, CISSP) or related work experience;
- Minimum eight (8) years of experience implementing and managing security infrastructure;
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in Cyber Security incident response;
- Ability to design and evaluate the organization's security architecture comprised of multiple layers of defence, network security, endpoint protection, access controls, encryption, and data loss prevention;
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain complex monitoring, auditing, and automation systems;
- Ability to provide solutions to complex issues;
- Ability to provide leadership and technical direction to the cyber security team;
- Ability to interpret security vulnerabilities and determine their risk, impact as well as coordinate remediation efforts.
- Excellent customer service skills including patience and diplomacy;
- Understanding of Cybersecurity Incident response and concepts;
- Passionate about Cybersecurity and desire to expand your knowledge;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision
You will stand out with:
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), Defender XDR, Sentinel, TheHive, Rapid7, Nessus, BitSight and ShadowServer NCTNS.
- Experience running a vulnerability assessment program.
- Experience using SIEM technologies such as ELK stack and Sentinel.
- Experience designing SIEM, SOAR solutions and workflows;
- Experience developing in python and grok
- Two (2) years of leadership experience in Cyber Security in the health service sector.
