Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
Our client is transforming how banking works by safely by embedding intelligent technologies into their ecosystem. As the Solution Architect - Artificial Intelligence, you will hold a pivotal technical leadership role. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and planning robust governance frameworks for AI technology solutions as they scale across the enterprise. This role bridges the gap between complex business needs, modern IT capabilities, and stringent financial governance controls to ensure every AI initiative aligns seamlessly with ’s organizational goals, security posture, and compliance mandates.
Responsibilities
- Architecture & Design: Design and develop scalable, resilient, and secure enterprise-grade AI solution architectures. Drive the architectural roadmap for high-impact initiatives, including the AI Threat Intelligence project and various FY27 strategic AI workstreams.

Cross-Platform Integration: Build and maintain cross-platform AI architectures that transcend a single cloud ecosystem. Seamlessly orchestrate solutions spanning AWS, Azure, and GCP, prioritizing architectural agility over platform-specific (GCP) configurations.

AI Governance & Compliance: Architect and plan rigorous governance controls for AI deployment. Ensure models adhere to corporate risk management policies, data privacy acts, and ethical AI standards required in a regulated banking environment.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration: Act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, data science teams, cybersecurity, and IT engineering to ensure technical feasibility meets strategic business intent.

Model Lifecycle Management (MLOps): Establish frameworks for model deployment, monitoring, retraining pipelines, and data lineage to ensure operational excellence across the enterprise.
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in technical leadership or solution architecture roles, preferably within a regulated industry like financial services, banking, or cybersecurity.

Prior experience designing AI solutions for threat detection, anomaly detection, or cybersecurity monitoring is highly desirable.

Deep expertise with LangChain or similar LLM orchestration frameworks to build advanced agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.

Hands-on proficiency with PyTorch and TensorFlow for building, fine-tuning, and evaluating complex machine learning models.

Enterprise Cloud AI Platforms: Proven experience architecting across major cloud provider environments:

GCP Vertex AI

Clear understanding of data governance, model drift management, bias detection, and compliance controls.

Exceptional ability to articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical executive stakeholders while remaining capable of doing deep-dive code reviews with engineering teams.

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative IT discipline. (preferred)

Certifications (nice to have) AWS Certified Generative AI Developer – Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, LangChain Academy / LangGraph Certification, DeepLearning.AI / Stanford Certification Tracks

Candidates in this role will be working a hybrid schedule of at lease 1 day a month in the office
