Position Overview:
At CYBERWELL, we take an offensive approach to security, grounded in fundamental security principles to effectively protect what matters most to our customers. Our team is expanding and seeking a Security Consultant who possesses a self-driven attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and a determination to continually improve. As a Security Consultant, you will support a wide range of offensive security and advisory engagements, including penetration testing, red team activities, security research, client consulting, and internal capability development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform penetration testing, red team assessments, technical security assessments, and vulnerability analysis on web, mobile and other applications, network infrastructure, and operating system infrastructures.
- Conduct code review, phishing, and social engineering engagements.
- Clearly convey results in formal technical reports and deliver briefings to client senior management and technical teams.
- Contribute to the development of your own and the team's technical capabilities, including the deployment of company infrastructure and PoC exploits.
- Research and maintain penetration testing tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding, network security, and encryption.
- Contribute to the writing of company marketing materials, such as white papers and blog posts.
- Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements:
Technical skills
- Strong understanding of common web application, mobile, and API attacks.
- Fundamental knowledge of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, REST).
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (preference to Python, JavaScript, and Go).
- Experience with security testing tooling (e.g., Nmap, Burp Suite, aHR0cHM6Ly90aW55dXJsLmNvbS95YzJyYzY0Ngo=, Metasploit).
- Broad security experience across enterprise environments, including application, infrastructure, and risk-focused assessments.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and the ability to effectively leverage security tooling and command-line utilities during assessments.
- Understanding of enterprise security principles, secure architecture, and defensive security concepts.
- Fluency in common web technologies and engineering workflows.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms and their implementation (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).

- Exposure to healthcare, regulated industries, or compliance-driven environments.
- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, PNPT, GWAPT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in security research, tooling development, or offensive tradecraft.
