Title: Consultant – Cloud IT Risk Assessment
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 6 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain IT risk scorecards to provide visibility into cloud and infrastructure risk posture across enterprise environments.
- Conduct risk assessments by reviewing vulnerability reports, security controls, architecture documents, and technical artifacts to identify potential risk exposure.
- Present weekly risk scorecards and findings to senior leadership, supporting risk-informed decisions prior to production deployments.
- Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to evaluate control effectiveness and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Assess emerging technologies and advise teams on cloud security risks, governance, and control implementation feasibility.
- Create executive-level reports and dashboards to communicate inherent and residual risks across technology environments.
Required Skills & Technologies:
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with RSA Archer, Tableau, LeanIX, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience working within cloud risk, IT risk, or cybersecurity teams in Financial Institutions
- Ability to communicate technical risk concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack and WebEx
Must Have Certifications:
CISSP, CRISC, CCSK, or CCSP
Nice to Have:
- Experience supporting AI technology implementations
- AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud certifications
