Job Role : IT - Information Security Consultant – Expert
Location : Toronto, ON (Need to go 3 days in week onsite and 2 days WFH)
Duration : 6 Months (Highly chance to extends)
- Conduct security risk assessments for cloud-based applications and infrastructure prior to production deployment.
- Evaluate and identify vulnerabilities, security gaps, and compliance risks across Azure and AWS cloud environments.
- Collaborate with technology teams, architects, DevSecOps, and business leaders to ensure secure cloud adoption and adherence to enterprise security standards.
- Present security findings, risk ratings, and remediation recommendations to senior leadership and governance councils in a clear, business-focused manner.
- Review and validate security controls related to IAM, network security, encryption, logging, monitoring, and vulnerability management.
- Support cloud environments across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Kubernetes/Container platforms (AKS/EKS), and Infrastructure-as-Code implementations.
- Ensure compliance with industry security frameworks and regulatory standards including NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, OWASP, PCI DSS, SOX, SOC 2, and OSFI.
- Partner with acquired organizations and subsidiaries to assess existing security maturity and uplift controls to align with enterprise standards.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline risk assessments while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor by staying current on emerging threats, cloud security trends, and regulatory requirements within highly regulated environments.
