On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Project Manager, Infrastructure - Cybersecurity for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
IT Project Manager, Infrastructure - Cybersecurity - Job Description:
The IT Project Manager, Infrastructure - Cybersecurity will lead and manage projects supporting SIM and GID initiatives, focusing on transformation efforts such as application rebuilds, cloud migration, and technology upgrades. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and alignment with enterprise dependencies and SWC remediation.
IT Project Manager, Infrastructure - Cybersecurity - Responsibilities:
- Develop, track, and manage project budget, project plans, timelines, and scope
- Manage project resources, including procuring project staff and developing, motivating, coaching, and advising
- Partner closely with other members of functional teams to define business requirements
- Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
- Define test plans and ensure that products are defect-free before User Acceptance Testing
- Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures
- Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
- Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
- Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors
- Communicate with project team and vendors
IT Project Manager, Infrastructure - Cybersecurity - Mandatory Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Project / Program Manager, with some experience preferably in a large FI
- Experience with App Code Changes, Architecture Redesign, Platform Rehosting, New Integrations, Enterprise Dependencies
- Proficiency with MS Suite (Visio, Project, Excel)
- 5+ years of experience working in an Agile/Waterfall environment
IT Project Manager, Infrastructure - Cybersecurity – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Regulatory experience
- Risk Remediation experience
- Recent Experience with Top 5 Banks is an asset
- PMP certification
- Large scale software currency work

The contract duration is from ASAP to October 31, 2026, with a high possibility of extension and conversion to FTE.
