Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Consultant - Privacy, AI & Data Governance to work as an integral part of our service delivery team serving enterprises in financial services, public sector, high technology sector, and other industry sectors. You will be helping our clients assess, design and implement programs that address privacy, responsible AI use, and data governance requirements, including alignment with recognized standards such as ISO 27701 and ISO 42001.
You will be an integral part of our team, providing support on some or all of the following activities:
- Delivering privacy, AI, and data governance client engagements, including assessments, framework design, and implementation support
- Supporting the development of AI governance frameworks aligned with ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, and emerging regulatory requirements
- Assessing risks related to AI systems, data lifecycle management, and privacy
- Contributing to the development of data protection and AI risk registers, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Understanding and clearly articulating observations and recommendations
- Supporting client remediation activities
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of privacy, AI, and data protection legislation and emerging trends.
Experience and Skills Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of combined relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with privacy and/or AI governance advisory services for mid to large size enterprises
- Knowledge of one or more privacy frameworks or legislative requirements, such as ISO 27701, GDPR, PIPEDA, or FOIPPA, as well as emerging AI regulations.
- Experience supporting clients in responding to OIPC (Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner) inquiries or complaints is a bonus.
- Polished written and verbal communication skills
- One or more designations in privacy, AI management systems or IT audit (e.g. CIPP/C, ISO27701 LI/LA, ISO42001 LI/LA, CISA) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant program, such as Business, Law, Accounting, and MIS
