Application Security Analyst (AI Training)
About The Role
Your experience finding and fixing real vulnerabilities is exactly what the next generation of AI needs. At Alignerr, we partner with leading AI research labs to build smarter, safer AI systems — and we need application security professionals who understand how software actually breaks in production.
This is your opportunity to put your AppSec expertise to work on something bigger: teaching AI how to reason about software risk, spot exploitable flaws, and recommend real remediation strategies.
- Organization: Alignerr
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do

- Classify and prioritize vulnerabilities — authentication flaws, injection risks, business logic issues, and more
- Evaluate secure coding practices and assess the quality of proposed remediation strategies
- Distinguish genuinely exploitable vulnerabilities from theoretical or low-impact risks
- Help create and validate security-focused reasoning datasets that train AI to assess application risk accurately
- Provide structured, written feedback that helps AI systems develop sharp, practical security judgment
Who You Are

- Self-directed and comfortable working asynchronously on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with bug bounty programs, penetration testing, or security code review
- Familiarity with secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
