π About the Role
Act Digital is currently looking for a SOC Analyst (L2) to join a dynamic cybersecurity team within a large enterprise environment in Montreal.
You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents, while contributing to the continuous improvement of security operations.
π― Responsibilities
- Monitor security events using SIEM and other security tools
- Analyze alerts and identify potential security incidents
- Investigate and escalate incidents when necessary
- Perform initial triage and support incident response activities
- Participate in threat detection and continuous improvement of use cases
- Collaborate with internal teams (IT, security, infrastructure)
- Document incidents and contribute to reporting
π§ Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 1β2 years of experience in cybersecurity (SOC experience is a strong asset)
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and common threats
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, or security monitoring tools
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.)
- Ability to analyze and respond to incidents
