Job Title: Security Analyst

We’re seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join a high-performing security team, focused on threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement of security operations. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where security is mission-critical.
The Role
As part of the Security Operations team, you will be responsible for monitoring, analysing, and responding to security threats across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor alerts, dashboards, and tickets to identify potential security threats
- Perform initial triage to assess severity and eliminate false positives
- Escalate confirmed incidents and support response and mitigation efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams and external security partners during incidents
- Manage and monitor SIEM tools and contribute to improving detection capabilities
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in a SOC or incident response environment
- Strong experience analysing alerts and handling security incidents
- Hands-on experience with tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and DLP
- Good understanding of common attack vectors (e.g. scanning, DDoS, malware)
- Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell preferred)
