Tanium Support Engineer (EDR)
- Location: Montreal, QC (Downtown – 3 days/week onsite, mandatory Monday or Friday)
- Duration: Contract through November 11, 2026
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Language: English required, French is a plus
We are looking for a highly experienced Tanium Support Engineer (EDR) to join a large enterprise security team focused on endpoint protection, stability, and continuous improvement of security platforms.
This role sits within IT Production Security and blends hands-on engineering, operational support, and security analysis. You will play a key role in ensuring endpoint security controls are scalable, effective, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, support, and optimize Tanium-based EDR solutions in production environments
- Ensure stability, performance, and sustainability of endpoint security controls
- Perform security analysis and incident support within the EDR domain
- Design, develop, and deploy security capabilities and processes
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and platform standards
- Provide expert-level support for EDR platform operations
- Define and enforce security policies, baselines, and governance standards
- Support service delivery and platform lifecycle management
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in cybersecurity
- Strong hands-on expertise with Tanium and EDR technologies
- Experience deploying and managing EDR solutions in enterprise environments
- Proven experience leading or contributing to EDR programs or initiatives
- Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Python
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, controls, and best practices
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts
