🚀 Account Executive – Cybersecurity (Trend Micro)

About the Role
Trend Micro is looking for a driven, results-oriented Account Executive to accelerate new business growth within a defined territory. This role is built for a true hunter—someone energized by finding greenfield opportunities, engaging senior decision makers, and closing high-value deals in competitive markets.
As an Account Executive, you will focus on generating net-new revenue by promoting Trend Micro’s industry-leading cybersecurity portfolio to enterprise and commercial customers. You’ll collaborate closely with channel partners, technical teams, and sales leadership to deliver impactful security outcomes and long-term customer value.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, identify, and qualify new business opportunities across enterprise and commercial accounts.
- Own the full sales cycle: lead generation, discovery, solution presentations, negotiations, and closing.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of net-new opportunities using CRM tools and targeted outbound strategies.
- Partner with Trend Micro’s channel ecosystem to expand market reach and execute joint go‑to‑market initiatives.
- Work closely with SEs and technical teams to deliver demos, assessments, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and competitor technologies.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Represent Trend Micro at industry events, conferences, and customer engagements.
🎯 Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of B2B technology sales experience; cybersecurity or SaaS strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of hunting and closing net-new business.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity solutions (endpoint protection, XDR, cloud security, network security, threat intelligence).
- Strong ability to engage C-level and senior IT stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with channel partners and distributors is an asset.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
