IT Security Analyst - DLP Rules & Policy:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an IT Security Analyst - DLP Rules & Policy for a 10 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.
IT Security Analyst - DLP Rules & Policy - Job Description:
The project involves critical incident management and foundational playbook review and creation for an effective Incident Response function, supporting the Security Incident Management workstream. The role focuses on monitoring and responding to Data Loss Prevention rules and policies to detect security events.
IT Security Analyst - DLP Rules & Policy - Responsibilities:
• Monitoring & response of Data Loss Prevention rules and policies
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment coordinating multiple issues and threats that can be occurring simultaneously
• Collaborates with various business lines, IT support functions and IS&C Control function
• Perform cybersecurity investigations using various analytical methods
• Utilize intrusion detection infrastructure to detect and remediate threats
• Investigate and review suspicious activities, such as phishing reported by customers or employees
• Contribute to initiatives for strategic direction for security-related technologies or controls
• Communicate complex technology knowledge to non-technical people
IT Security Analyst - DLP Rules & Policy - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of hands-on technical working experience in network security, information security, network and IT support, or related fields
• 1+ years of experience with Data Loss Prevention methodologies, rules, and policy creation
• 2+ years of experience building and running a TTP framework methodology for pattern and behavior-based content development
• 2+ years combined experience with red team activities, consulting, SOC, and Device Management
IT Security Analyst - DLP Rules & Policy – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Advanced communication skills in English, Spanish is a strong asset
• Certifications such as Sec+, CySA+, Net+, A+, CISSP Associate are nice to have
IT Security Analyst - DLP Rules & Policy – Assignment Length:
The contract duration is from 02/16/2026 to 12/31/2026, with a possibility of extension and conversion to full-time employment.
