We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a senior Penetration Testing Analyst for our client. This is a long contract, 100% onsite in Regina, SK.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Systematix is supporting a Government of Saskatchewan cybersecurity initiative within the Cyber Security and Risk Management (CSRM) Branch. The project focuses on strengthening enterprise security through penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and security advisory services across government systems, applications, and infrastructure. The role exists to support proactive risk identification, remediation planning, and ongoing security maturity improvements.
ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will conduct internal and external penetration testing activities and produce clear, actionable security assessment reports. You will work closely with internal security teams and stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, assess risk, support remediation efforts, and provide knowledge transfer where required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must-have:
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity with a strong focus on penetration testing
- Hands-on experience conducting network, application, and infrastructure security testing
- Strong understanding of operating systems, network protocols, and secure system design
- Demonstrated experience producing professional penetration testing and security assessment reports
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan
Nice-to-have:
- Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, or CEH
- Experience working in government or other regulated environments
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Location: Onsite – Regina, Saskatchewan
- Duration: Contract (2 years, with possible extension) / Start date: March 2026 (anticipated)
- Work hours: 37.5
PAY DISCLOSURE:
The average hourly pay range for this field is as follows:
Junior: 0–5 years of experience in area of expertise — $55–70/hr
Intermediate: 6–9 years of experience in area of expertise — $70–90/hr
Senior: 10+ years of experience in area of expertise — $90–105/hr
Compensation is commensurate with these standards; exceptions may apply based on experience, skills, and market conditions.
