Our client is currently seeking a
Penetration Testing Analyst (on contract) to support cybersecurity testing and assessment work. This is a hands-on role focused on identifying vulnerabilities, validating risk, and producing clear, actionable findings for technical and business stakeholders.
Role details
- Location: Regina, SK — 100% onsite required
- Start: March 2026 for 2+ year contract term
What you’ll be doing
- Execute internal and external penetration testing on networks and applications.
- Support security assessments (including physical security / audit, as assigned).
- Analyze security policies and standards.
- Deliver security assessment reports and participate in knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience working as a Penetration Tester.
- Experience with OWASP Application Security Testing Standard.
- Strong grounding in pen testing methodologies, vulnerability assessment, and exploit development.
- Experience with pen testing tools, vulnerability identification/exploitation, and common attack vectors/defenses.
- Experience with static + dynamic application security testing (automated + manual).
- Experience with black box + white box testing
- Ability to write and present detailed assessment reports
Nice-to-haves
- Cloud security / cloud app architecture & deployment models
- Regulatory compliance standards during testing
- ISO 27002:2022 (or equivalent) regulatory / controls knowledge
- Certifications like CEH or CISSP (or similar)
