Position: Penetration Testing Analyst
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. (Onsite)
Pay Rate: CAD$90/Hr - CAD$100/Hr
Overview:
Seeking an experienced Penetration Testing Analyst to perform comprehensive security assessments of applications, networks, and systems. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in penetration testing methodologies, vulnerability assessment, and cybersecurity standards, with the ability to work fully onsite from the contract start date.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred).
Valid cybersecurity certifications such as CEH or CISSP (mandatory; equivalent certifications considered).
Minimum three professional references.
Proven experience as a Penetration Tester.
Strong knowledge of OWASP Application Security Testing Standard.
Experience with cloud security, cloud-based architectures, and deployment models.
Hands-on expertise with penetration testing tools, vulnerability identification, and exploitation techniques.
Knowledge of common attack vectors, defensive strategies, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Experience with static and dynamic application security testing (manual and automated).
Experience with white-box and black-box testing methodologies.
Familiarity with ISO 27002:2022 or equivalent information security standards.
Strong reporting skills, including writing and presenting detailed security assessment reports.
Responsibilities:
Conduct internal and external security testing of networks and applications.
Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits as assigned.
Review and analyze security policies, standards, and controls.
Assess physical security where applicable.
Produce clear, detailed security assessment and remediation reports.
Share knowledge and collaborate with internal security teams.
