Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of technology solutions and demonstrate exceptional project management skills. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and developing strategies to enhance our service offerings.
Responsibilities
* Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Identify and target small to mid-sized businesses in Edmonton needing Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Solutions.
* Sales & Business Development:
- Meet with potential clients to assess their IT needs and present Netcotech’s solutions.
- Develop custom IT service proposals based on business needs.
- Work closely with our technical team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Negotiate contracts and close new Managed IT Service agreements.
* Marketing & Networking:
- Attend local networking events, business meetups, and Chamber of Commerce meetings to expand Netcotech’s presence.
- Build relationships with referral partners (accountants, lawyers, consultants, etc.).
- Collaborate with our digital marketing team to drive inbound leads.
* Account Management & Growth:
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to identify upsell opportunities.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers.
- Work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Use a mix of cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn networking to connect with decision-makers.
- Build a strong sales pipeline with qualified leads and scheduled meetings.
** Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of IT sales or MSP sales experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Managed IT Services, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Proven track record of closing deals and hitting sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM tools for lead tracking and follow-ups.
- Self-motivated & goal-driven with a passion for sales.
- Knowledge of Edmonton’s business landscape is a plus.
