Position Summary
Reporting to the Information Management Manager, the Cybersecurity Supervisor will be responsible for leading the Division’s Cybersecurity team as well as leveraging their security experience and expertise to perform advanced cybersecurity related activities.
Job Duties/Responsibilities

managing the Cybersecurity Program as outlined in the administrative regulation as per NIST cyber security framework

developing and maintaining awareness and training programs to ensure that all staff are knowledgeable and engaged to protect Division information and networks

conducting assessments of information security vulnerabilities and threats to the Division
-
developing and implementing Division standards related to passwords, multi-factor authentication, access controls, encryption, confidentiality agreements, audit logs, privileged access and other relevant cybersecurity topics

developing and maintaining reporting structures

advising departments on proper use of technology
-
monitoring cybersecurity posture across the Division
- coordinating and investigating cybersecurity incidents

supervising the execution of cybersecurity activities by the Cybersecurity team

mentoring, training, coaching and performance managing staff within the team
collaborating with other department supervisors and managers on Division training and education
Education/Qualifications
-
diploma in a related field
-
Information Security or Privacy designation such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CISA
-
a minimum of six years related experience in cybersecurity and technology
-
knowledge of Protection of Privacy Act (POPA) requirements is an asset
-
progressive leadership experience
-
exceptional communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
-
experience with Microsoft suite of security products and Google Admin and security features is an asset
-
knowledge of DNS security an asset
Rate of Pay
$57.23 - $73.20 per hour
