Overview: Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer to enhance their cybersecurity and DNS solutions team. This role will focus on supporting sales efforts with technical expertise and ensuring seamless transitions from sales to implementation, while promoting a secure online environment for Canadians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to assess the technical needs of potential clients.
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Work with clients to identify their requirements and propose customized SaaS solutions.
- Set up and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) environments, providing support throughout the demonstration phase.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to pre-sales activities.
- Report on client feedback and suggest potential improvements to internal teams.
- Liaise with product management and development to stay informed on product features and enhancements.
- Assist in training sales and customer success teams on new product functionalities.
- Provide post-deployment support in conjunction with the product support team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, ideally in the SaaS sector.
- Strong understanding of SaaS solutions, cloud computing, and related technologies.
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements as needed.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, DNS, security, and compliance standards.
- Fluency in French is a plus.
