The Delivery Consultant Is a Key Member Of The Canadian Professional Services Delivery Team. The Consultant Works Closely With Local Sales And Delivery Teams To Plan, Design And Implement Various Industry-recognized Network And Security Solutions For Clients Using a Mix Of Technologies
- Routing, Switching, wireless and Data Centre (Cisco, HP, Aruba, Fortinet, etc)
- Cisco Nexus switching, Catalyst switching
- Working knowledge of Security Services such as: FirePower Threat Defence (FTD), Identify Services Engine (ISE), AMP for Network/Endpoint, Umbrella
- Working knowledge in Security architecture and risk management
- Working knowledge in Cybersecurity and related architecture Other technology areas considered an asset include:
- Software Defined Networking (Cisco ACI, Vmware NSX)
- Software Defined WAN (Cisco Viptela, Vmware VeloCloud)
- Cisco DNA (Automation/Assurance and SDA)

In This Role, You Will
- Scope activities for the development of customer statements of work
- Play a key role in technology assessments and discovery
- Lead recommending, seeking approval and sign-off of proposed solutions and design, develop and implement proposed solution.
Required Skills And Experience
- Overall 10+ years’ experience with proven history in consulting and/or professional services industry with a particular strong background encompassing network and security.
- Strong English communication skills – both written and spoken are essential.
- Strong capability in technical writing for customer proposals, documentation or solution summaries.
- Those having strong organizational and interpersonal skills plus a demonstrated effectiveness in customer-facing roles are ideal.
- Strong presentation technical skills and must be able to work cross-functionally with account teams and partner organizations.
- Focus on delivery with strong client-facing abilities/background.
- Assessment, discovery, design and delivery experience is essential.
- Expert with Cisco Routers, 4000 series, 37XX series, 36XX series, 29XX series, 28XX series.
- Expert with Cisco Catalyst 3700 series, 3600 series, 3500 series and 2900 series switches.
- Experience with Cisco Meraki Full Stack
- Experience with Cisco DNA / SDA
- Experience with Aruba CX Series switching
- Experience with Aruba Wireless
- Expert with Cisco Nexus OS.
- Expert with Cisco ACI or VMware NSX
- Experience in VMware servers ESXi 5.x and 6.x with VMware VSphere Client an asset.
- Skilled with in-depth understanding of OSPF, BGP, & EIGRP Routing Protocols, DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (including IPV6).
- Enterprise experience with Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco FirePower (FTD) and Next Generation feature sets such as IPS, Malware and Application protection.
- Enterprise experience in other major vendor NG Firewall platforms (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Working knowledge of Cisco AMP for Endpoint and Cisco Umbrella
- Enterprise experience with wireless access controllers and access points, network access control systems, enforcing network security for wired, wireless.
- Enterprise experience with cloud based wireless solutions.
- Enterprise experience with Cisco Identify Services Engine (ISE) for both wired and wireless deployments with integration with Software Defined Networking and MDM
- Knowledge of software defined networking concepts and configuration
- Ability to apply knowledge of various industry-recognized voice architecture and sound technology architecture principles to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
- Compelling communication skills across a wide variety of mediums and situations - including written and verbal communication and in presentations spanning formal and informal, from small to large audience.
Required Travel – Approximately 15% - 20% annually within Canada where no travel restrictions in place.
Education Background
- BSc in Computer Science or related discipline, or 3 year Technologist Diploma or equivalent
Combination of certifications with the following technologies would be an asset:
- Cisco: CCNA/DA, CCNP/DP
- Cisco CCIE Data Centre or Security considered an Asset
- CISSP
- Cyber Security training or certification (ex. SANS GIAC Certified Detection Analyst)
