SENIOR CYBER SECURITY ANALYST

One of The Select Groups top clients is looking for a Sr. Cyber Security Analyst to join their team in a hybrid fashion. Candidates must be open to coming onsite 3 days a week in one of the following locations: Winston-Salem, NC, Radnor, PA, Irvine, CA, Pittsburgh, PA, Frisco, TX, Charlotte, NC or Columbia, MO. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the identification, analysis, and mitigation of threats and vulnerabilities to both cloud and internal systems/networks. SENIOR CYBER SECURITY ANALYST REQUIREMENTS:

6-10 years of related Information Technology experience defining, implementing, and adhering to security policies, procedures, and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Experience with PowerShell, Python, APIs – Plus skill
Security Certifications – Plus skill (Examples: OSCP, CASP, GCIA, GCIH, CEH, Security+)

SENIOR CYBER SECURITY ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES:

In-depth knowledge of security controls, protocols, and principles
Strong knowledge of security protocols and encryption
Experience with security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
Proven experience developing, operating, and maintaining security controls.
Extensive knowledge of operating system and database security
Proficient in networking technologies, network security, and network monitoring solutions
Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems.
Ability to effectively communicate security protocols and principles to other IT professionals.
Ability to provide written communication at appropriate level of detail with clarity, appropriate formatting, grammar and spelling.
Interpersonal skills to include good oral and written communication skills.
Attentive to detail and able to manage time to accomplish tasks.
Teamwork skills with the flexibility & adaptability to work in a changing environment.
Willingness and ability to learn new tasks and concepts.
Ability to display good judgment and escalate issues and concerns as needed.
Willingness to work overtime when needed.
