As a Cyber Security Analyst, you'll work cross-functionally with Team Members across the organization to understand business and security requirements and help protect Home’s systems, networks, and data. You'll support cybersecurity initiatives, investigate security events, and contribute to maintaining a secure and reliable technology environment. This role provides exposure to a broad range of cybersecurity tools, processes, and technologies and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in cyber security.
Led by the Senior Manager, Network & Security, this opportunity suits a curious, analytical, detail-oriented problem solver who enjoys investigating issues, documenting findings, and continuously learning in a technology environment.

- Monitor security alerts, threats, and emerging risks across the organization's systems and technologies.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and help resolve security incidents, working with internal teams and external partners as required.
- Document incidents, findings, recommendations, and processes clearly and accurately to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Assist with vulnerability assessments, security testing, and remediation activities.
- Support incident response efforts to help manage and mitigate cybersecurity risks.
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices, applying new knowledge to strengthen security controls.
- Assist Team Members with security-related questions, tools, and processes.
- Act as an escalation point to help troubleshoot and resolve security issues.
- Available to provide off-hours support as required.
We’re looking for:
- College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field. Industry certifications such as CCIP (Certified Cyber Intelligence Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or ITIL Foundations are an asset.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in cybersecurity, IT support, networking, systems administration, or a related technology field (co-op, internship, or project experience will be considered).
- Understanding of Windows, Linux, MAC, Mobile operating systems.
- Knowledge of scripting/programming languages such as Bash or Python is an asset.
- Experience with XDR and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
- Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and security testing tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to create clear, accurate, and well-organized documentation.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly curious and eager to learn new technologies, tools, and security concepts.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and the OSI model is an asset.
- The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.

- The expected starting salary range for this role is $73,300 - $102,600; the final offer will reflect relevant skills and experience.
